PHOTOVOLTAIC Transit Pavilion - METRO CESAR CHAVEZ

 

Onyx Solar has completed a new project in the new Cesar Chavez transit Pavilion using our Photovoltaic Glass in Los Angeles, United States

 

It is a new, state-of-the-art transit pavilion at the Cesar Chavez Metro station bus stop.

 

The project improves the customer experience and passenger safety with a new transit pavilion with innovative Photovoltaic Canopies that improve sustainability made of Amorphous Silicon Photovoltaic Glass.

The Photovoltaic Glass manufactured with triangular shapes with measures (2,375 x 1,372 mm) and in low transparency has been integrated in the bus stops creating a shaded area and generating clean and free energy.

 

The project has been led by Gensler, one of the most important architectures in the world that is being a pioneer in sustainable building.
